Fifteen miles from Ely is the city of Ely, famous for its
cathedral and home of Oliver Cromwell. Newmarket, the home of horseracing is also fifteen miles from Cambridge with the
National Stud and Horseracing Museum.
Cambridge has two shopping centres one in the old historic centre and another in the under cover Grafton Centre.
